Apartment request: Keep things clean and simple, employing natural materials, finishes and textures wherever possible.
Project solution: white and wood melamine
White cabinetry, white walls, white marble counters. In contrast, natural wood elements in varying tones add texture, warmth and a sense of nature to the new elements in the room. It was very important that this space feel authentic, and that the kitchen transition seamlessly into the other spaces.
Melamine cabinets are resistant to many of the common issues presented in a kitchen, whether it be excessive moisture, heat or stains. The reason why melamine can resist these external elements is because of its tough outer coating. This coating is also easy to clean.
